Adding to the Line-Up: the Ford Transit Van
Originally debuting in Europe as a largely commercial van, the Ford Transit has been produced and sold for more than 50 years. New to the Rollx Vans inventory line-up in 2016, the Ford Transit replaces the Ford E-Series that previously served as a popular option for our customers needing a bit more space.
More Options to Grow
The Ford Transit wheelchair accessible conversion is available in three different sizes, with three different height options. The smallest features 83.2 inches of exterior and 55.8 inches of interior height. The mid-size features 100.8 inches of exterior and 72 inches of interior height. And, the largest features 110.2 inches of exterior and 81.5 inches of interior height.
Comfort Features that Surpasses the Competition
The Ford Transit van is available with comfort luxuries (not all are standard) like cloth shades on all windows, two garment hangers, a video system, a lighted ceiling panel, reading lamps, reverse parking aid, and power locks, windows and steering. The Transit also comes equipped with a 26 gallon fuel tank and a powerful 310 horsepower EcoBoost engine, which allows for the performance of a V8, matched with the fuel economy of a V6. It’s truly designed from the ground up to give passengers a smooth, comfortable and quiet ride.
A Better Commercial Option
Looking for a van that meets commercial ADA vehicle standards? Look no further than the Ford Transit van. With ample space for multiple wheelchair users, plus additional options for able-bodied seating, the Ford Transit offers the flexibility organizations need when transporting wheelchair users and passengers with other needs, alike.
